Frank Pantridge

Professor James Francis Pantridge, (3 October 1916 – 26 December 2004), usually known as Frank Pantridge, was a Northern Irish physician, cardiologist, and professor who transformed emergency medicine and paramedic services with the invention of the portable defibrillator.
